Our relationship with Entry Canada began at the end of 2017 when we decided to understand what was necessary to immigrate with our children to Canada. Our family lived in Calgary for 2 years and we fell in love with it! We came to Canada in 2018 with a job offer. In 2020 we had to apply for an extension of our work permits. As we had made the first application alone, we filled out the paperwork, gathered the documentation and submitted the application.
It seemed like everything was fine. But, in November, we received an email from immigration saying that our application had been DENIED! But how? We asked. Everything was fine.
No, it wasn’t. We forgot to indicate a number on one of the various forms…
In other words, due to the smallest detail, our work visa was denied and immediately Rodrigo, who is a doctor, had to stop working and we lost our status in Canada. From day to night, we found ourselves unable to pay our bills! All because of a number.
Some friends had already recommended Entry Canada and we immediately got in touch. At the weekend, Juliana started working on our case. She included an urgent request, due to the existence of a temporary Immigration policy, and within two weeks we had the visa in hand.
In other words, what was cheap ended up being very expensive! Because we had to pay the fees twice and another fee for our case to be reevaluated.
